todays T3cH J4rG0n

Changing your psp's browser first things first you will need to download the homebrew app pspkvm wich allows you to use java apps like cell phone browser's and games you can find that here PSPKVM its 13.2MB place the folder you get when u download and extract it into your game 5.xx folder then get the opera mini files needed from these two links

file 1

File 2

place these two files in your memory stick root

unplug your psp from your pc and go into your game file and launch pspkvm

If you haven't set up an Internet connection, choose "Network Set-up" (remember, in this app ENTER is with O, not with X, however, this option can be changed by going to SYSTEM MIDLETS>CONFIGURE VM>KEYMAP SETTINGS).

Now, go to "SYSTEM MIDLETS>FIND APPLICATIONS", and select the file "opera-mini-advanced.jad" from ms0:/ (should be on the root). Press O and it should ask you if you want to install the app, click yes (the bottom options are with [Select] and [Start] if you haven't already figured it).

Choose the device J2ME 480*272 (this adjusts Opera to the PSP screen size).

wait for it to finish

How to use PSP OSK (psp on screen keyboard) instead of bulit-in Java keyboard
If you're using the newest PSPKVM version, there's no need anymore to edit any file, as it's now configurable:
Just start PSPKVM, and go to SYSTEM MIDLETS>CONFIGURE VM>VIRTUAL KEYBOARDS.

and there you go your all set have fun this browser runs alot smoother and loads pages alot faster then the default psp browser

You can also use this web browser to go to ebuddy.com and download the ebuddy IM program which includes all major IMs including facebook IM for those facebook junkies out there :)

any questions leave comments and i will respond as needed and feel free to speak amongst each other if another person knows the answer to someones question that's why i added the question/answers gadget at the bottom of my page
